Vincent Willems’ approach to teaching golf is to make the game fun. And to assure his students’ fun, they need two things: custom fit golf equipment and the correct mechanics. And as for Vincent’s fun, it is to see the smile on the face of his student after a great shot.
Vincent has loved the game of golf since he was in his teens. He graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in 1998 and then moved to Golf Centrum Puurs where he started as an apprentice and soon became a Class A PGA Member in Belgium. Vincent is fluent in English, Spanish and French and as a result has a very international clientele.
Vincent is well aware that “equipment affects motion” and that the main reason golfers don't play better golf is because their clubs conflict with their physical anatomy. Once a student has been properly fit, Vincent can then start working on the mechanics of their swing to attain maximum precision.
Vincent has been honored as one of the World's Top 100 ClubFitters for the past three years (2011-2013) and is also a member of IPAC, a prestigious group comprised of the world's top fitters. He is also a certified KZG Master ClubFitter. Additionally, Vincent trains PGA Teaching Professionals in Belgium the art of clubfitting.
